Follow these after care instructions for at least two weeks...
- Be mindful of your tattoo - don't pick it, scrape it, bump it, and don't touch it with dirty hands
- Avoid exposure to the sun and stay out of the tanning bed
- Do not soak or swim in fresh-, salt-, or chlorinated water.
- Wash the tattoo two to three (2-3) times a day with warm soapy water and clean fingertips (beware of the fingernails). Rinse completely.
- Apply an antibiotic ointment after washing two to three (2-3) times a day. Rub in completely and leave as non-greasy as possible.
- Use a non-stick sterile bandage when necessary; for example:
- When doing dirty work (welding, gardening, working on the car, etc.)
- Problems with the tattoo sticking to or being irriated by clothing or bedding.
- Sleeping with pets.
- Do not wear bandage for more than nine (9) hours a day.
- Consult a health professional at the first sign of infection or allergic reaction.
